Paul D. Engler, 89, of
Princeton passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at River Oaks Health
Campus in Princeton.
He was born on July 31, 1924 in Pike County, IN to
Hassel and Pearl (Selby) Engler.
He retired in 1985 after 35 years with Potter &
Brumfield as a tool & die maker. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a
member of the United Presbyterian Church in Princeton. He was a former member
of the Lions Club and a member of Society of Manufacturing Engineering.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Virginia (Taylor) Engler
of Princeton; 2 sons, Danny (Sherry) Engler and Tim
(Tammy) Engler both of Princeton; 3 grandchildren, Ashley
Engler, Jared (Jill) Engler
and Tally (Brian) Collins; 2 great grandchildren, Kaleb and Kendal Engler.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the
Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Pastor Michael Evanchak. Burial will be at the Columbia White Church
Cemetery in Princeton.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 PM on Friday at
Colvin Funeral Home. Military graveside services will be conducted by retired
military veterans.
