Barbara A. McKannan, 73 passed away Friday Jan. 31, 2014 at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

She was born Sept. 29, 1940 in Ligdon KY to Walter and Maudie (Henson) Edmonds. 

She was a homemaker and had lived in Francisco most of life. She enjoyed genealogy, crafts, crocheting and fishing. 

She is survived by her husband, Jerry McKannan, 5 children, Anita Morrison (Kenny Bilderback) of Princeton; Dee Shoultz of Francisco; Jana McKannan (Melanie Keeney) of Spicewood, TX, Kellie McKannan (Brian Sloan) of Francisco, Kevin McKannan of Francisco, sister, Betty Meier (Russell) of Francisco, brother, Hershel Edmonds (Monzella Stout) of Petersburg, 9 grandchildren, Chris Buck (Jessi), Jayson Shoultz, Stewart Stilwell (Steven Wolf), Michelle Dick, Tayla Shoultz, Ashlee Stilwell (Luke Thorbecke), Clay McKannan, Kaden McKannan and Reese McKannan, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Deborah Kay Egnew. 

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday Feb. 3, 2014 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Cody Byrns officiating. Burial will follow in the Francisco Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
