Vickie N. LaMar, 68 formerly of Hazleton, passed away Saturday December 14, 2013 at her home in Daytona Beach, FL.

She was born Jan. 10, 1945 in Rochelle, IL to Lyman and Doris (Keen) Sapp Jr. who both preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Chester LaMar in 200l, and a sister Diana Buscher. 

She is survived by children, John (Kendall) Shanks of Princeton; Lisa Greubel of Princeton; Robin Thacker of Fredricksburg, VA; Grant (Kim) LaMar of Princeton; Sam (Carrie) LaMar of Henderson, KY; Keri (Tim) Hedge of Hazleton, a brother and wonderful caregiver, Charles Reeves of Daytona Beach; also brothers, Lanny (Sandy) Reeves of Princeton and Lyman Sapp III of Clay City, IL, 15 wonderful grandchildren and 22 beautiful great-grandchildren, and also a beloved friend Toni Keith. 

There will be a memorial service 7 p.m. Thursday Jan 2, 2014 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Lee Ayers officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. There will be private burial services on Friday Jan. 3, 2014 at the Hazleton Community Cemetery in Hazleton.
