Jack L. Freudenberg, 80, of Fort Branch, IN, passed
away on Monday, Dec. 16, 2013 at Pine Haven Nursing Home in Evansville, IN.
He was born on Feb. 11, 1933 in Barton Twp in Gibson Co. IN, to the late Leonard and Hazel
(Hendrickson) Freudenberg.
Jack was a retired farmer and was a member of the
Fort Branch First Presbyterian Church. He was a Korean War veteran, a member of
the Fort Branch VFW Post #2714, the Somerville American Legion, the American Bird Hunters. He was a past president of the
Gibson County Pork Producers, and had been a Democrat Precinct Committeeman for
Barton Twp.
He is survived by his wife, Sue (Massey) Freudenberg
of Fort Branch, IN, 2 children, James “Jim” (Anna) Freudenberg of Anarbor, MI, Beth (Mark) Schmitt of Fort Branch, IN, 3 grandchildren
Caiti, and Meri Schmitt,
and Selene Freudenberg.
Services will be Saturday, December 21, 2013 at
10:00 am at the Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort
Branch, IN with Reverend Corey Atkins officiating. Burial in Providence
Cemetery in Francisco, IN where military services will be conducted at the
grave site by VFW Post 2714 and American Legion Post #194.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 20, 2013 from
4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
