Clifford Earl Dawson 76 of Petersburg, IN entered rest on Saturday, 7 December 2013, at Memorial Hospital in Jasper, IN.

He was born on Feb. 11, 1937 in Petersburg, IN to Clester & Mae (Leighty) Dawson.

He retired from Bridgeport Brass after 30 years of service, a member of Goldwing riders and was a member of River Of Life Church in Petersburg, IN

Surviving are his wife; Edwina (Poehlein) Dawson of Petersburg, IN; Daughters; Roxanna French of St. Louis, MO., Eva Sells of Petersburg, IN; Grandchildren; Alisha Dugas, Amanda Adams ad Skylar Burkett; Great Grandchildren; Brayden and Macy Dugas, Cameron, Christopher, Katelyn, and  Virginia Adams; Sister, Mary E. White of Winslow, IN

He was loved very much by all and will be greatly missed. You were right Dad God came this year.  

Funeral services will be Wednesday Dec. 11, 2013 12:30 EST at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in Sunset Cemetery in Winslow, IN. Rev. Jim Gidcumb will be officiating.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until services on Wednesday.
