Carl “CW” Boyle, 72, passed away Saturday, Dec. 28,
2013, at his home in Princeton.
He was born on May 8, 1941, in Princeton, IN, the
son of Darwin Sam and Ruth (Kendall) Boyle.
Carl graduated from Princeton High School, Class of
1959. He worked for the CSX Railroad as a Locomotive Engineer and retired after
36 years of service. Carl was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive
Engineers. He was a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge #354. He was also a
member of the Princeton Eagles #361 and American Legion Post 25. Carl loved to
watch his grandson, Trever, play baseball. He also enjoyed spending time with
his granddaughter, Taylee.
Survivors include his wife, LaDonna R. (Pegram) Boyle; son, Brent (Angi)
Boyle; Grandchildren, Trever and Taylee Boyle;
sister, Ruth Ann Brown all of Princeton.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, brothers,
Joe, Roy and Larry.
A special thank you to the nurses at Deaconess
Hospice for their special care during Carl's brief illness. We would also like
to thank Dr. Murthy and his staff. Also, a special thank you to Jenny for her
comforting prayers and help during this difficult time.
Memorial graveside services will be held on Thursday
Jan. 2, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Mauck Cemetery with Bob
Douglas officiating. Holders Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
