Colette J. Nolcox, 58 of Evansville, passed away Friday, Nov. 1, 2013.
She was born
Nov. 29, 1954 in Princeton to Sheldon L. and Vivian Maxine (Lyles) Nolcox.
She had
resided in Evansville since 1978 moving there from Springfield, Ohio. She was a
retired elementary art school teacher in the EVSC. She graduated with a
Bachelor of Arts from Wittenberg University in Spring-field and a Masters from
the University of Evansville in 1986. She formerly taught at Howard Roosa Elementary and Delaware Elementary Schools and also
William Henry Harrison High School all in Evansville.
She is
survived by a son, Aaron T. Nolcox (fiancee’ Kristen Larrick) of
Newburgh; mother, Maxine Nolcox of Springfield;
brother, Travis (Terry) Nolcox of Princeton; niece,
Shelley Manns of Columbus, Ohio; nephew, Lyle Nolcox of Princeton and numerous cousins and friends.
She was
preceded in death by her father, Sheldon Nolcox.
Funeral
services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013 at Colvin Funeral Home
in Princeton. Burial will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery near Lyles Station.
Visitation
will be from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
