Arthur James McCloskey, 70 of Patoka, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013.

He was born on November 18, 1943 in Evansville, IN to Joe and Alice (Montgomery) Carlise.

He served in the Air Force as an Air Policeman and later worked at Kings and Old Ben Mines. He was also a Past Commander of American Legion Post 25 and recently served as Chaplain. He loved his family and going fishing.

He is survived by his wife Donna and 6 children; Michael McKinney of Princeton, Victoria Phillippe of MO, Linda Collins of Petersburg, James McCloskey of Princeton, Dennis McCloskey of Princeton and Lisa McCloskey of Oregon; sister Jane Ann Clark of South Carolina and brother Tommy Canary of Washington; 20 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son James David.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 PM on Tuesday, November 26, at Colvin Funeral Home.
