Glenda Mardell Lee, 71, of Oakland City, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

She was born November 9th, 1941, in Oakland City.

Glenda graduated from Oakland City High School in 1959.

She was a lifetime member of the First General Baptist Church of Oakland City, and a member of the Golden Fleece OES Chapter 176, formerly Oakland City Chapter. She was a former District One Deputy of the OES.

Glenda was preceded in death by her father, William Blake Julian and grandson, Michael Lee.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Lee; mother, Marie Julian; brother, William E Julian; son, Jeffery Lee (Sherri); son, Terry Lee (Ginger); daughter, Cheryl Waninger (Dan); grandchildren, Tara Sutherlin, Matt Lee, Amanda Ashworth, Emily Lee, and Rebecca Lee; step grandson, Christopher Wells; Great Grandchildren, Riley Sutherlin, Myah Sutherlin, Sophie Sutherlin; and all of her friends, her many friends.

The family would like to thank the ICU and staff at Deaconess Gateway Hospital for their above and beyond care during Glenda’s stay.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday 11 a.m. November 6th, 2013, Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel, Dr. Douglas Low will be officiating. Burial will take place at Montgomery Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3:00-8:00 P.M. at the chapel. Eastern Star services will be conducted at 7:00P.M. Tuesday.
