Norma “Jean”
Hedges, 83, of Princeton, Indiana passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013 at
River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.
She was born
June 29, 1930 in Spencer County, IN to Elmer and Eloise (Potter) Meyer.
She was a
member of Bethel Memorial Church in Princeton. She was retired in 2006, after
30 years as a Radiology Tech from Gibson General Hospital.
She is
survived by her husband of 63 years, John Hedges of Princeton; son, Terry E.
(Patricia) Hedges of Princeton; daughters, Judith A. (Marty) Perkins of
Princeton and Lisa M. (Patrick) Vinnedge of Oakland
City; 5 grandchildren, Kara (Randy) Sparks, Kelli (Billy) Mayer, Heather
Perkins, Cory Vinnedge and Christopher Martin
Perkins; 6 great grandchildren, Matthew and Emily Sparks and Trenton, Aubrey,
Alexa and Trevor Mayer; sisters, Wanda Holder of Yankeetown, Karen Ann Gray of
Boonville and Janet Kay Meyer of Lynnville.
She was
preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ronald K. Meyer; sisters, Betty
Simpson and Lois Bilderback and a grandson, Brian
Trent.
Funeral
Services will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at the Colvin
Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Kevin Wilson officiating. Burial will be
in Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville.
Visitation
will be from 4 until 8 PM on Tuesday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
