Alan E. Holzmeyer, 63, of Princeton passed away on Wednesday, October
16, 2013 at his home in Cadiz, Kentucky.
He was born
on February 15, 1950 in Mackey, IN to Bernard and Thelma (Koberstein)
Holzmeyer.
He was
Owner/President of Holzmeyer Die & Mold in
Princeton since 1980. He attended St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in
Aurora, Kentucky for the last 20 years, and formerly attended the St. Joseph
Catholic Church in Princeton. He was a member of the Princeton B.P.O.E. #634.
He is
survived by his wife, Mona (Wildman) Holzmeyer of
Princeton; mother, Thelma Seib of Princeton; 2 sons,
James (Julie) Holzmeyer of Patoka and Michael (Eva) Holzmeyer of Florida; 2 daughters, PJ (Brian) Sullivan of
Patoka and Brandy (Bryan) Cromer of Evansville; 2 step-sons, Douglas Holland
(Heather DeHosse) and Johnny (Laci) Holland all of
Princeton; 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; brother, Roger (Marilyn)
Holzmeyer of Ft. Branch; several aunts, uncles,
nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was
preceded in death by his father, Bernard Holzmeyer;
step-father, John Seib; and 2 brothers, Arthur and
Norman Holzmeyer.
A Mass of
Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Monday, October 21, 2013 at the St.
Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton, Father Ronald Zgunda,
celebrant.
Visitation
will be from 2 until 8 PM on Sunday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. There
will be a Christian Wake at 7 PM on Sunday evening at the funeral home.
