Robert W.
“Bob” Davis, 70, of Princeton passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at his
home in Princeton.
He was born
on December 1, 1942 in Princeton.
He was a
member of the Princeton Christian Church. He was a coalminer at AMAX Coalmine
for 24 years and was a member of UMWA. He loved to fish and to spend time with
his family.
He is
survived by his wife of 52 years, Anita Davis of Princeton; daughter, Tina
(Stephen) Walden of Princeton; son, Timothy Davis (Stephanie Clevenger) of
Owensville; 4 grandchildren, Stephen Walden II (Lindsey), Justin (Janis) Walden,
Brooke Walden and Hunter Davis; Great Granddaughter, Kynleigh
Walden.
He was
preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Pearl and Raymond Jones; and
sister, Rayetta Terry.
Funeral
Services will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at the Colvin
Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. John Dunn. Burial will be at the
Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton.
Visitation
will be from 4 until 8 PM on Tuesday at Colvin Funeral Home.
