Charles “Junior” Cleveland, 86, passed away Wed. Oct. 23, 2013 at
Deaconess Gateway Hospital.
He was born
Sept. 8, 1927 in Gibson, County.
Junior graduated
from Cynthiana High School in the class of 1946. He was a lifelong farmer and a
member of the Old Union Christian Church.
Survivors
include his wife of 66 years, Helen Jane (Marvel) Cleveland; daughters, Cinda (Charles) Painter, Sue Anne (Lowell) Tate and Vicki
(Jay) Clark; 6 grandchildren, Collin Painter, Carmen Lowry, Kimberly Sharp, Amiee Floyd, Chris Ramsey and Amanda Smith; 6
great-grandchildren, Jaymen, Bethany and Cara
Painter, Tristen Sharp, Peyton and Brooklynn Floyd; several nieces and nephews.
Junior was
preceded in death by his parents, Charles Nelson and Beatrice “Opal” (Bradshaw)
Cleveland; sister, Anna Mae (Peggy) Neaveill.
Services
will be held on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Old Union Christian
Church with Baret Fawbush officiating.
Burial will be in the Poseyville Cemetery.
Visitation
will be on Sunday from 3-6 p.m. and Monday 9:00 a.m. until the service time at
Old Union Christian Church. Holders Funeral Home in Owensville is handling
arrangements.
