Bobbie Joe Ridgely,
84, of Princeton passed away Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013 at The Waters in
Princeton.
He was born on Aug. 19, 1929 in
Princeton, to Clarence and Mable (Lewis) Ridgely.
He retired from Vault Service in
Princeton and also worked for the Gibson County Bank for 20 years. He retired
from the National Guard after serving for 21 years. He was a member of the
American Legion Post #147 Jasper and the Dubois County 40 and 8.
He is survived by his children,
Michael (Sharon) Conn of Lafayette, Brad (Debra) Ridgely,
Jeff Ridgely and Tim Ridgely
all of Princeton and Jane Ann Ridgely of St. Anthony;
11 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his
parents; wife, Helen Jane Ridgley in 2009; and his brother, Billy Ridgely.
Funeral Services will be held at 2
p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, 2013 at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Princeton, officiated
by Rev. Jerry Wibert. Burial will follow. Family and
friends will meet at the cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8
p.m. Thursday at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Military graveside services
will by retired military veterans.
