Maxine Marshall, a longtime resident
of Francisco passed away on Monday, Sept. 9, 2013 at Gibson General Hospital in
Princeton.
She was born Jan. 1, 1922 in
Owensville to Roy Tipton and Ethel (Williams) Tipton McDevitt.
She worked at the Francisco State
Bank for 47 years before retiring in 1989. She was a charter member of
Francisco BPW.
She is survived by her sisters,
Gloria (Eugene) Phillips of Francisco, Joy Ott of
Princeton, Nancy Strickland of Oakland City and step-sister, Darlene Fritz of
Princeton; grandchildren, Leah Rodriguez of Greenbrier, Ariz., Tamara Castello, Cynthia Herron and Bart Stormont all of Heber Springs,
Ariz., Robert Stormont of Locust Grove, Ariz., Bradley Stormont of Welburn, Ariz., Rebecca Stormont of Stevensville, M.D. and
Brett Stormont of Foss, Okla.; 24 great grandchildren; 21 great-great
grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; son, Robert (Bobb) Stormont in 2006; and a
sister, Loretta Meadows in 1998.
Funeral services will be held at 11
a.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, 2013 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with
her nephew, Pastor Larry Meadows officiating. Burial will be in the Francisco
Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8
p.m. on Thursday at the Colvin Funeral Home
