Benny S. Byrns, 54, of Mt.Carmel, entered rest on Monday, Oct, 7, 2013, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.

He was born Sept. 19, 1959 in Mt. Carmel to Delmar and Billie (Vaughn) Byrns. 

Benny was preceded in death by parents. He was member of the VFW Post Auxiliary in Mt. Carmel. Had worked at Snap-On Tool in Mt Carmel for 26 years and was employed Azteca Milling for seven years.

He is survived by wife Kathy (Howder) Byrns of Mt Carmel; sons Darick (Misti) Byrns and Jordan Byrns (Shantel Vandiver) of Mt Carmel; brothers Wayne Byrns of Mt Carmel and Kevin Byrns of Patoka; sisters Shirley Rose, Marilyn Doan of Mt Carmel, and Diana Perry Of Patoka; and grandchildren Bryleigh and Avery Byrns, and Dylan Hicks.       

Services will be Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville, with burial in Maumee Cemetery in Johnson. The Revs. Bill Reed and Tim Bobbitt will officiate. 

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until services on Friday.
