Wanda D. Priestly age 76, of
Princeton, passed away Friday, Aug. 30, 2013, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in
Evansville.
Wanda was born on August 22, 1937,
in Evansville, the daughter of Elmer and Hilda Harvey Lyles, both of whom
precede.
She worked as an assembler at Hanson
Mfg. in Princeton for over 30 years. On Oct. 9, 1958, in Evansville, Wanda was
married to Burniss “Red” Priestly who preceded her in
death on Feb. 12, 2006. She was a lifelong resident, formerly attending Wayman Chapel A.M.E. of Lyle Station and presently attended
the Hillside United Methodist Church in Princeton.
Wanda is preceded in death by her
parents, husband Burniss and son Eric. She is
also preceded by brothers; Joe & Paul Outlaw and Clifton Miller as well as
her sister, Rachael Bateman.
She is survived by daughters;
Stephanie Hardiman of Princeton and Patricia Priestly
of Indianapolis, brother John (Diane) Outlaw and
sister June Johnson of Indianapolis. Other survivors include grandchildren;
Amanda, Melissa and John Cameron Hardiman, great
grandchildren; Addison, Elise, Ethan and Kenleigh.
Funeral services will be Wednesday,
Sept. 4, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Hillside United Methodist Church located at 828
West Archer Rd. in Princeton, with Revs. Floyd Edwards and Chris Neikirk officiating. Internment will take place in Sand
Hill Cemetery of Lyle Station.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 3,
2013 from 2 until 8 p.m. and Wednesday, September 4, 2013 from noon until
time of service at 1 p.m. at Hillside United Methodist Church of Princeton.
Visitation and funeral services will take place at the church.
