Robert Allen “Bob” Miller, 66 of Smithville, passed away Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. He was born in Gibson County, Indiana on Aug. 21, 1946 and had resided in Smithville in Knox County, Indiana for the past 21 years, moving there from Princeton. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in Vietnam. He was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Darlene Hathaway Miller of Smithville; 3 daughters, Tracey (Carl) Sargent of Paintsville, KY, Tina (Ed) Bryant and Debra Perry both of Princeton; 6 grandchildren, Zachary Sargent, Amber Hathaway, Katelyn Archibald, Audry Bryant, Amanda Perry and Zachary Perry; 1 great granddaughter, Jazmynne Perry; 1 sister, Carolyn Ivy of Smithville and 1 brother, Max (Robin) Miller of Fort Myers, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and June Miller, and also 2 brothers, Tony and Keith Miller.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. CDT Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Scott Burr officiating. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. CDT Thursday at Colvin Funeral Home. Retired Military Veterans will provide full military rites at the funeral home.
