Judith A. McIntire, 73 of Princeton, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013.

She was born July 24, 1940 in Fort Branch to John and Pauline Romerhausen.

She was a graduate of Princeton High School-Class of 1958 and resided in Princeton most of her lifetime. She was member of Hillside United Methodist Church where she was active in the Wesleyan Sunday School Class and enjoyed the visitation program visiting the residents of local nursing homes; she loved her church and church family. She was also a member of Rainbow Girls, Sun Bonnet Belles Home Ec. Club, Gibson General Hospital-Pink Ladies Auxiliary and the Salvation Army Auxiliary. She was supportive of all of her grandchildren’s and families activities, she was happiest at sporting events, school functions and spending time with family during holidays and family get-togethers. Her legacy continues through the unconditional love she gave to her family.

She was an amazing and loving wife, mother and grandmother as well as great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, George E. McIntire Jr. of Princeton to whom she was married on February 22nd 1958 at Shawneetown, Illinois; 2 daughters, Pamela A. (Randy) Sands of Francisco and Penny (Greg) Mason of Princeton; sister-in-law, Donna McIntire; daughter-in-law, Mandy McIntire; grandchildren, Jonathan (Tiffany) Mason, Amanda Sands, Christi (Adam) Johnson, Jacob Sands, Matthew Mason, Nathan (Paige) McIntire, Tyler, Michelle, Lindsey, Braylee and Ambria McIntire; great grandchildren, Trenton, Aubrey, Reed and Kameron; also several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, George E. McIntire III.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Hillside United Methodist Church, 828 W 100 N in Princeton, with Rev. Chris Neikirk and Rev. Kaitlin Moore officiating. Burial will follow at the Walnut Hill Cemetery near Fort Branch.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday and again from 9 until 11 a.m. Wednesday all at the church. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is handling the arrangements.
