Raymond L.”Ray” Bryce, 74,
of Princeton passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at his home in Princeton.
He was born on February 26, 1939 in Chicago, IL to
Charles and Mildred (Ireland) Bryce.
He retired from Hostess Bakery. He was a veteran of
the U.S Marines. He was a member of the Princeton Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, LaDonna (Wertz) Bryce of
Princeton; 3 children, Marilyn Selman of Milledgeville, IL, Michael Bryce of
Bowling Brook, IL and Dawn Rayner of Germany; step-children, James and Larrie “Pete” Wertz and Billie Pflug;
6 grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren; and a
brother, Donald Bryce of Belton, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Heather Watson; step
grandson, Jeffery Connors; 3 brothers, Glen, Lloyd and Robert Bryce; and 2
sisters, Donna Lynn Bryce and Patricia Zeman.
Memorial Services will be held at 4 PM on Friday, August 30, 2013 at the
Princeton Christian Church, 217 N Gibson Street, officiated by Pastor Larry Tedrow. Graveside services will be at 2 PM on Saturday,
August 31, 2013 at Thurmond Cemetery in Ewing, Illinois, officiated by Pastor
Jason Ishmel.
There will be no visitation. Colvin Funeral Home,
Princeton is handling the arrangements. Military graveside services by Benton
American Legion.
