Marjorie H Barrix,
92, of Princeton passed away Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013 at Gibson General Hospital
Skilled Nursing Facility in Princeton.
She was born June 27, 1921 in Newburgh to
Albert and Effie (Kesner) Boyer.
She worked at Hurst Manufacturing.
She is survived by two sons, Steve (Cheri) Barrix and Woody Hillis; two
daughters, Sheri (Jim) Collins and Carolyn (John) Umpleby
all of Princeton; step-son, Joe Allen (Connie) Barrix;
six grandchildren, Andy (Angie) Collins, Brandi (Jason) Sturgeon, Brian (Anna) Barrix, John Jr. (Sarah) Umpleby,
Lisa McDonald and David (Susan) Umpleby; and 10 great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents;
husband, Orville Barrix in 1985; three brothers and
two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev.
Glyn Pfohl officiating. Burial will be in the Maple
Hill Cemetery in Princeton.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m.
Tuesday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
