Steven A Meyer, 57, of Princeton passed away Monday, July 29, 2013 at his home in Princeton.

He was born Nov.22, 1955 in Evansville, to Harold and Elvera (Kiesel) Meyer.

He lived in Princeton since 1978, coming from Haubstadt. He worked for Gibson County Garage for over 25 years. He was a member of the Sons of American Legion Post #25 and the Eagles.

He is survived by his mother, Elvera Meyer of Haubstadt; daughter, Jessika Meyer of Princeton; son, Evan Meyer of Petersburg; grandchild, Kash Meyer; brother, Keith Meyer of Haubstadt; two sisters, Janice Proper of Evansville, Wyoming and Judy Simon of Haubstadt; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Meyer in December of 2012.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2013 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Father Leo Kiesel and Father Tony Ernst. Burial will be at the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
