Daniel Dane Mauck, 64, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at his residence.

He was born on October 29, 1948 in Evansville the son of Charles Leonard and Gladys Pauline (Boyle) Mauck.

Danny was a graduate of North Posey High School class of 1967 and served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Poseyville American Legion #278, Wadesville VFW Post 7331. He was the Business Agent for the IBEW Local 1393. Danny enjoyed spending time with his five grandchildren; family was very important to him. He was also an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Deborah (Higgins) Mauck; son and daughter-in-law Doug and Misty Mauck and their children Melissa and Maya of Poseyville; daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Joe (Danny) Elpers and their children Joshua, Kaleb and MaKenna of Cynthiana; father, Leonard Mauck; sister and brother- in- law, Susie and Greg Tooley and children, Lindsay (Mark) Schmitt and Kyle and Whitney Tooley; brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Kathy Mauck and children, Korey (Lisa) and Kristopher (Kendra) Mauck; brother-in-law Richard (Kim) Higgins and children, Amanda (Corey) Sills, Zachary and Eric Higgins; several great- nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline in 2009.

Services will be Monday, July 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with Baret Fawbush and Rev. Paul Huntsman officiating. Burial will be in the Mauck Cemetery with full military rites.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
