Hazel A. Geiselman, 91, passed away July 24,
2013, in the VNA Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville.
She was born July 3, 1922, in Johnson to
Samuel and Pearl (Stone) Harmon.
She graduated from Fort Branch High School.
Hazel married Arnold Geiselman April 12, 1941, and they shared 71 years of
marriage until his death in 2012. She was a WWII war bride following her
husband and working at various jobs wherever he was stationed.
She was an executive secretary at Whirlpool
for over 30 years and during that time she was a member of Evansville
Professional Women’s Business Association where she served as a past president
for the local chapter and past state president for some three terms. She
enjoyed volunteering with her husband Arnold for various organizations such as,
the Boy Scouts, Fire Dept., and church activities at Zion UCC.
She and Arnold loved to winter in Tavares,
Fla. where they attended Tavares First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed
traveling with Arnold and taking many trips overseas including South America,
Australia, Alaska, Hawaii, Africa, France, and China.
She was preceded in death by her parents;
husband; brothers, Thelman Harmon, Bert Harmon; and sister, Lillian Riffert.
Hazel is survived by several loving nieces, nephews, and very special friends.

Funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Monday,
July 29, 2013, at Zion UCC, 2nd & Elm Streets, Elberfeld, Rev. Janet Buente
and Rev. Steve Oeth will officiate and burial will follow in Zion UCC Cemetery
with Rev. Rick Bender officiating the graveside service.
Visitation will be held 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.,
Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Volkman Chapel, 2nd
& Elm Streets, Elberfeld, (812) 983-4211. Additional visitation will
be noon to service time Monday at the church.
