Freda (Elshoff) Trumpey, 97, passed away Sunday June 23, 2013 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City.

She was born, March 23, 1916 in Bretzville to John and Louise (Steineker) Elshoff.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James P. Trumpey; sister, Florence Beumer; brothers, Raymond and Arthur Elshoff;  and son-in-law.

Freda is survived by two daughters, Lana Trumpey and Linda Guinn; a granddaughter, a grandson, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2013 at Zion United Church of Christ with burial to follow in Fairmont Cemetery in Huntingburg, 

Visitation will be held 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, 2nd. & Elm Streets, Elberfeld, Ind.  (812) 983-4211, and Friday 9 a.m. to service time at the church.
