FRANCISCO—S. Chris Stiles, 32 of Francisco, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

 

He was born Oct. 22, 1980 in Evansville.

 

He was an engineer/conductor for Indiana Southern Railroad. Chris was a very hard worker and loved spending time with his family, working on trucks, bow hunting, participating in 5K running and recently completed a 13 mile trail run and running with his dog, Wally. He was always helping other people. He was member of BLET Division 270. He had a great relationship with his mother-in-law, Dixie Christmas and father-in-law, Mike Davis.

 

Chris was a good, loving and devoted husband to his wife, Laura Stiles of Francisco; a loving father to his daughter, Krislyn Sue Stiles and two step children, Maylyn and Jarrett Miller all at home; a devoted son to his mother, Debra Stiles of Francisco and his father, John Stiles of Princeton; a loving brother to his sister, Tiffany (Matthew) Kelly of Greenfield; other survivors include his grandfather, Bob Whitehouse and his fiancée  Betty Coleman of Francisco; cousins, Jason and Ashley Stiles; also several aunts and uncles.

 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Wanda Sue Whitehouse and paternal grandparents, John and Burnetta Stiles.

 

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Wayne Rowland officiating.

 

Visitation will be from noon until 4 p.m. Wednesday at Colvin Funeral Home. There will be no graveside services following the funeral.
