Wilma Jean Madden, 83, of Fort Branch passed away June 17, 2013 at the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.
She was born to the late
Shirley and Georgia (Thompson) Reed on May 15, 1930 in Fort Branch.
Jean was a member of the Fort Branch First General Baptist Church, and the Fort Branch VFW Post # 2714 Women’s
Auxiliary.
Besides her parents she is
also preceded in death by her husband Russell Madden, who passed away on Apr. 20, 1993, and two brothers, Jack and Linden Reed.
Jean is survived by three
children, Kenneth Madden of Crossville, Ill., Jean Weitkamp of Spurgeon,
and Jan Weiss of Fort Branch, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services for Jean will be Thursday, June
20, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Stodghill Funeral
Home located on Highway 168 West in Fort Branch, with Rev. Steve Akins officiating.
Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery, also in Fort Branch. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 19, 2013.
