James Randall "Randy" Cox, 65, of Elberfeld, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at his home.

Randy was born in Evansville, Indiana on March 12, 1948 to William Robert and Anna M. (Abney) Cox.

He worked as a bartender for the Evansville Athletic Club for 25 years. Randy was an automobile enthusiast, loving father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

Randy is survived by his children, William R. Cox, James A. Cox, Crystal Gayle Cavins and Trisha Kay Sulawske; his mother, Anna M. (Abney) Cox; sisters, Diane Pack, Connie Mitchell, Sandra May Lauderdale, Billie Ann Newlin and Marion Canary; brothers, Bobby Cox, Darrell Cox and Donald Cox; 14 beloved grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Randy is preceded in death by his father, William Robert Cox and a sister, Brenda Sue Cox.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 10, 2013 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, Indiana 47711 with Rev. Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's United Church of Christ Cemetery in Buckskin, Indiana.

Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time on Monday at Browning Funeral Home.
