OAKLAND CITY—Mildred Spaw, 93, of Bloomington, formerly of Oakland City, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Sterling House of Bloomington.

She was born Aug. 2, 1919.

She attended Forsythe Methodist Church in Oakland City.

She is survived by a daughter, Karen, and a son, Rodney, both of Bloomington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert, in 2006. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. (CDT) Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, IN, officiated by Rev. Charles Gipson.

Burial will follow in Forsythe Cemetery, Oakland City.

Visitation will be from noon until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
