Sarah Schmett, 52, of Grayville, Ill. passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

She was born May 4, 1961 in Mt. Carmel, Ill. to Benjamin R. & Pauline (Ward) Dicus, both preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Schmett of Grayville; four children, Becky Montgomery of Evansville, Jenny York of Lancaster, Ill., Tiffany Schmett and Jacob Schmett both of Grayville; three grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Hayes of Francisco and Roberta Dicus of Princeton; and one brother, David Dicus of Noble, Ill.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday May 15 at the Salvation Army Church in Princeton, with Major Tim Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Oddfellows Cemetery in Princeton.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Wednesday at the church.  Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is in charge of arrangements.
