F. Lamkin, 96, of Kokomo
IN, formerly of Princeton, IN, passed away on May 29, 2013 at St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.
He was born in Tell City, IN to the late Frank and Louise (Reis) Lamkin on Aug. 2, 1916
Carrol was retired from maintenance at Potter and Brumfield
in Princeton IN, a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton, IN, and attended Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort
Branch IN. and St. Joan of Arc in Kokomo
IN. He was a Veteran of WWII, and was a member of
the American Legion Post # 25.
Besides his parents, Carrol is preceded in death by his wife Helen (Pontrich) Lamkin who passed away
on March
25, 2007.
He is survived by a daughter
and son-in-law, Nikki Lu (James) Rentz of Kokomo, IN
and 2 grandchildren: Brienne Kibbie
Rentz and Anthony Scott Rentz
and several Nieces and Nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial
will be on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, IN, with Father Brian Emmick,
Celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday, June 3,
2013 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM
at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168
West in Fort Branch, IN. A Rosary will be recited by the church parish
on Monday evening at 7:30 PM
at the funeral home. Military services will be conducted at the graveside
by the VFW Post #2714.
