Bertis W. Falls 79 of Oakland City, IN entered rest on Monday May 13, 2013 at Memorial Hospital in Jasper, IN.

He was born on January 23, 1934 in Pike County IN to Adam and Golda (Harris) Falls.

He was an Army Veteran during Vietnam Conflict and member of U.M.W.A. He had worked at Old Ben 1 coal mine and coal mine construction.

He was preceded in death by parents and a brother Donald Falls on April 28, 2013,

Surviving wife of 38 years Angela (Ham) Falls; daughter: Michelle (Curtiss) Genco of Petersburg, IN; sons: Ronald Myers of San Bernardino, California

Wayne (Susan) Myers of Arthur, IN, David Roe of Evansville, IN, Darrell Falls of Oakland City, IN; grandchildren: Zachary Vickers, Will Austin, C.D. Genco, Tim Austin, Courtney, Kerstain and Joanie Myers; great grandchildren: Jayda , Christian Vickers, Victor Rompa, Carson McDonald ,Beau Kellams, Cheyenne Genco and Vayda Myers.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday May 16, 2013 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in Knights Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Jim Gidcumb will be officiating.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until services on Thursday.
