Shirley M. Wittenberg, 77, of Fort Branch passed away at the VNA Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville on Wednesday, April 3, 2013. 

She was born April 14, 1935 in Evansville to the late Edward and Lillian (Walters) Conder.   

She is also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wittenberg, on Dec. 28, 2005. 

She is survived by four children, Sharon Ann (Dennis) Englehardt of Elberfeld, Terry Sue (Tony) Brackett of Fort Branch, Vickie Lee (Orville) Merkel of Lynnville, and Marilou (Chris) Corn of Evansville, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Service will be on Friday, Apr. 5, 2013 at the Fort Branch General Baptist Church at 3 p.m. with Rev. Steve Akins Officiating, burial will be in Northview Cemetery in Elberfeld. 

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at the church on Friday.
