Rita K. Wilson, 79, of Haubstadt passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at The Village at Hamilton Pointe in Newburgh.

She was born on October 28, 1933, in St. Wendel to the late Frank and Mary (Krietmeyer) Rexing.

Rita was a lifetime member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt and a member of St. Bernadette Auxiliary #280. She was also a proud graduate of Marian Heights Academy in Ferdinand, Indiana.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Wilson in 2001 and a sister Mary Barber in 2010.

She is survived by her children, David Wilson, of Haubstadt, Shirley Wilson of Indianapolis, and Ann Gerteisen (Russell), of Newburgh; grandchildren, Scott Wilson (Andrea), Zachary Powell, Joey Gerteisen, and Sammy Gerteisen; great-grandchildren Alexis, Austin, and Athan Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 5 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 4 at Wade Funeral Home in Haubstadt with a Rosary service at 7:30 p.m.

Visitation will also be held from 10 a.m. until Mass time Friday, April 5 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church.
