Robert F. Will, 72, of Haubstadt, IN, passed away on Friday, Apr. 5, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville, IN.
He was born to the late Leo
H. and Esther M. (Maurer) Will on May 1, 1940 in Haubstadt, IN.
He was the Past President of Tenbarge Seed Co. in Haubstadt, IN, and developed the Briarwood and Hunters Crossing
Sub-divisions. Bob attended Loyola of the South College in New Orleans, the University of Evansville, and Indiana University. Before he ran Tenbarge
seed Co., he was a teacher and counselor at Scott elementary
School in Scott Township.
Bob was a member of the Sts.
Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN, the Haubstadt Knights of Columbus, the Haubstadt
Chamber of Commerce, the Haubstadt High School Alumni Assn., the American Seed
Trade Assn, past President of the Indiana Crop Improvement Assn. He was
very proud to have been invited to the Chicago Bears training camp by George
Halas right out of college; he played football, basketball and tennis for U of
E. He was an avid IU fan, and was a member
of the U.E. Brew Crew. Bob loved to volunteer at the Sisters of St.
Benedict. He also loved to spend time with his grandkids and watch them
play sports. Bob was a talented wood worker.
Besides his parents Bob is
also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Ted Will, and Danny Will.
He is survived by his wife,
Dianne (Tenbarge) Will of Haubstadt, IN, 3 children,
Rocky Will of Haubstadt, IN, Chad Will of Haubstadt, IN, and Wendy K. Denman of
Naples, FL, 7 grandchildren, Alexa, Mitchel, Madison, Joely, Molly,
Mason Will, and Aiden Denman. He is also
survived by a brother, Steve Will of Spring, TX.
A Mass of Christian burial
will be on Tuesday, Apr. 9, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN, with Fathers Tony Ernst and Brian Emmick co-celebrants. Burial will be in the church
cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday Apr. 8,
2013 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on
Hwy. 168 west in Fort
Branch, IN, and again from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the church on Tuesday.
