Susie (Geisler) Ward, 69, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Deaconess in Evansville.

She was born June 7, 1943, in Evansville, the daughter of Dick and Dorothy (Garrett) Geisler.

Susie was a graduate of North Posey High School class of 1961, and retired from sales. She was a member of the Griffin Ruritan, Eagles Auxiliary 427, American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include her daughters, Stephanie (Jerry) Erbacher, of Mt.Vernon and Cindy (Jim) Fifer, of Griffin; five grandchildren, Clint, Kayce and Megan Erbacher, Christopher and Paige Fifer; sister, Ann Kay (Roy) Weedman; a niece Heather Teets; nephews, Bryan and Dirk Bulkley; and six great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ronald C. Ward on Aug. 9, 2002.

Service will be Thursday, April 11, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville, with Bart Newton officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Griffin.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and noon until the service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
