Faye E. Miley, 78, of Oakland City passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at her home in Oakland City.

She was born Sept. 24, 1934 in Pope County, Ill. to James T. and Christa (Chambless) Schnake. 

She was a member of the Francisco General Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Oakland City Legion and the Oakland City Eagles. 

She is survived by her daughter, Evelyn “Chris” (Michael) Dienhart of Oakland City; granddaughter, Brandy Lynn Loveless and fiancé (Jeremy Betz) of Henderson, Ky.; sister, Geraldine Ferlow of Golconda, Ill.; two brothers, Ray and James Schnake both of Golconda, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Lewis Stafford in 1978; sister, Ruby Swinford; twin brother, Roby Schnake and two other brothers, Lewis and Garland Schnake.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday April 13, 2013 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, with Dr. Darrell Hillhouse officiating.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
