Dixie Ann Corn, 67, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013 at her home in Oakland City.

She was born August 20, 1945 in Princeton and had resided  her lifetime in Oakland City. 

She was a former Editor of the Oakland City Journal and former proprietor of Amore Pizza in Oakland City.

Dixie is survived by her three sons, Scott (Tammy) Corn of Newburgh, Alan (Emmarie) Corn of Evansville and Matthew (Emilee) Corn of Oakland City; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mervin and Emma Monroe; her husband, David M. Corn in 2007.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City, with Rev. Matt Malin officiating. Burial will follow. 

There will be no visitation. Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City is handling the arrangements.
