Robert M. “Spanky” Bryant, 77, of Francisco passed away on Thursday, April
11, 2013 at Good Samaritan
Home in Oakland City, IN.
He was born on February 17, 1936 in Princeton, IN to Golden and Evangeline (Lashbrook)
Bryant.
He moved to Francisco in
1979. He was a member of Clarks Chapel Baptist Church in Somerville. He was previously a car salesman, beginning at Temple Chevrolet and then for Dauby
Chevrolet. He then began working in the parts department and later was parts
man for Princeton Automotive. He was a former member of the Optimist Club.
He is survived by his children, Keith (Christine) Bryant of Evansville, Jeff
(Vicki) Bryant and Kim (Steve) Bettag both of Oakland City; 2 grandchildren, Justin Bryant and Robert Bettag; great grandchildren, Blaize
Austin and Kileigh Nicole Bettag;
brother, Ronald Bryant of Princeton; and a sister, Judith Roney
of Princeton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Mary Ellen Bryant in 2006.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM
on Tuesday,
April 16, 2013 at the Colvin
Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Robert McDonald. Burial will be
at the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton.
Visitation will be from 9 AM until service time on Tuesday at Colvin Funeral Home.
