Ret. Col. James Manford Bishop, age 86, a native of Princeton, and a resident of Summerdale, Ala., passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013.

He is survived by three sons, Ron Bishop (Pam) of Estero, Fla.; Mike Bishop of Madison, and Mark Bishop(Jessica) of Palm Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren; one sister, Ann Bishop of Princeton, and one brother, J.R. Bishop (Janet) of Wheaton, Ill..

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 10 a.m.
