Earlene “Nene” H. Walker, 88, of Princeton, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.

 

She was born April 6, 1924 in Pike County to Eddie and Cordia (Gross) Henning.  

 

She retired from Potter and Brumfield in 1985 after 30 years of service, working as a teletype operator and administrative assistant. She was a member of Bethel Memorial Church, and had traveled to Jamaica for 15 years on missions with the New Vision Orphanage.  She was also a former Queen Mother and current member of the Red Hat Society, Princeton Country Club, Salvation Army Auxiliary, and Gibson County Council on Aging art class.

 

Survivors include: son David (Nancy) Buffolino of Suwanee, Ga., and daughter Deborah Anne (Jimmy) Hinzman of Elkton, Md.; brothers Bob Henning of Francisco and Jack Henning of Ennis, Texas; grandchildren Joshua ( Elizabeth), Adam, and Kyle Buffolino, Mark (Emily), Chad (Gina), and great-grandchildren, Michael Brown, Millie Brown, Gianna Brown, and Padraig Buffolino; Morris Brown, and Peyton Brown.

 

Funeral services will be Tuesday March 19, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Bethel Memorial Church, located at 1520 S. Main St. Princeton, with Pastor Kevin Wilson officiating. Burial will take place in Francisco IOOF Cemetery

 

Visitation will be on Monday March 18, 2013 from 4 until 8 p.m. at Doyle Funeral Home, 520 S. Main Street in Princeton
