Mary Rose (Rexing) Ambrose, 79, of Haubstadt, went to her heavenly
home Monday, March 4, 2013
at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Mary Rose was born in Vanderburgh County, Indiana on August 31, 1933 to the late Raymond and Regina Lucille (Wilm) Rexing.
She attended Reitz High School and worked at Fendrich
Cigar Co. and in the Camera and Jewelry Dept. at K-Mart. Mary Rose was a member
of the Daughter's of Isabella and the Alters Society. She enjoyed playing
clabber in local leagues and quilting with the Labor of Love Quilters at Sts.
Peter and Paul Church where she was also a faithful member. She will be
remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and
friend.
Mary Rose is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Kenny) Allen of Haubstadt, IN;
sons, Tom (Joanie) Ambrose of Haubstadt, IN and Jeff
(Pamela) Ambrose of Darmstadt, IN; grandchildren, Stacy Ambrose Tweddell, Christy Ambrose Allen, Becky Ambrose, Tony
Ambrose, Mary Ruedlinger Karges,
Jacob Ruedlinger, Nick Ambrose, Chris Ambrose and
Dylan Ambrose; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Karges
and Evelynn Rose Karges;
sisters, Wilma (Todd) Kain of Evansville, IN and Elgene (Bob) Beckerle of Potomac,
Maryland; and by her brother, Ray Rexing of
Haubstadt, IN.
Mary Rose is preceded in death by her husband, Alton "Smoky" Ambrose in 2008; her parents; and
by her brother, Earl Rexing.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 8, 2013 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 211 N. Vine St., Haubstadt, IN 47639 with Father Tony Ernst, Father Brian Emmick, Father Paul Ferguson and Father Kenneth Betz
celebrating. Burial will follow at the Sts. Peter and Paul Church Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 2:00 PM
until 8:00
PM, Thursday, March 7,
2013 at Browning Funeral

rosary will be held at 10:30 AM Friday at the church preceding Mass.
