Mary Pauline Woodruff, 96, of
Princeton, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Gibson General Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility
in Princeton.
She was born March 21, 1916 in Burnt Prairie, IL to William and Ethel Utterback.
She moved to Fort Branch when she was 6 years old, then later moved to Princeton where she spent the rest of her life.
Mary married George Woodruff
on Oct. 17, 1937 and was
married to him for 55 years before he passed away. Also preceding her in death
were her parents; 2 sisters, Opal Woolems and Ida
Freeland; and a brother, Cohn Utterback.
Mary was the secretary/treasurer for Woodruff Bros, Inc. for over 50 years. She
was a charter member of Bethel Memorial Church in Princeton. She was past Worthy Matron of Golden Fleece Chapter
#176 Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her brother, George David (Edna) Utterback
of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM
on Friday,
March 1, 2013 at the Colvin
Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Kevin Wilson officiating. Burial will be
in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until service time on Friday at the Colvin Funeral
Home.
