Mildred M. Kirby 84 of Oakland City entered rest on Tuesday Feb. 26, 2013 at her home.

She was born on July 9, 1928 in Dresden, TN to Leon Brewer and Aaron (Lovelace) Rupert.

She attended Muren Church of God and worked at the Oakland City Nursing Home several years ago.

She was preceded in death by parents and husband Robert Kirby, sister Myrtle Johnson, son Richard Nance, grandson Andrew Rice.

She is survived sons: Larry (Rachael) Nance of Oakland City, IN., Terry (Denise) Nance of Green Cove Springs, FL; Daughters: Judy Gore of Chandler, IN, Mary (Wayne) Morgan of Nashville, TN and Renee (Tim) Lashbrook of Francisco, IN; Sister; Donna McGraff of Kissimmee, FL

Brother: Gene Brewer of IL; (10) Grandchildren (6) Great Grandchildren, (1) Great- Great Grandchild (2) Step Grandchildren (9) Step Great Grandchildren.

Funeral service Friday March 1, 2013 11:00 AM at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in Williams Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until services .Rev. Chip Bulloch will be officiating.
