Adrian R. Kays, 90, of Princeton passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

 

He was born on November 21, 1922 in Winslow, IN to Theodore and Elsie (Harris) Kays.

 

He graduated from Princeton High School in 1940, was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1147, served in Italy during WWII as an Air Force Staff Sergeant, he was a Deacon, Elder and youth leader for the Broadway Christian Church and had worked as a machine specialist at Hansen Manufacturing for 43 ½ years. 

He is survived by his wife of 67 years Elizabeth Kays of Princeton, children David (Barbara) Kays of Baltimore, MD, Richard (Donna) Kays of Plain City, OH, Donald (Debra) Kays of Princeton; sister Barbara (Jeff) Lauderback of Xenia, OH; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers Paul, Raymond & Leslie Kays

Funeral Services will be held at
10 AM on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. David Scott Kays. Burial will be at the Columbia White Church Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 PM on Friday at Colvin Funeral Home. Military graveside services will be by retired military veterans.
