Rosemary Maier, 84 – a lifelong resident of Haubstadt – passed away at Charier Hospice Center in Evansville early Tuesday morning, Jan. 29.

In her retirement years, she especially enjoyed her time with grand children, great-grandchildren and quilting. With her quilting team of friends she enjoyed crafting intricate quilts for the annual Sts. Peter & Paul Die Kirche Auktion, and seeing them fetch handsome bids on behalf of the parish.

At Sts. Peter & Paul, Rosemary was active in the Daughters of Isabella and the Parish Altar Society.

After raising a family of three daughters and two sons, Rosemary returned to school and earned a BA in Liberal Studies from the University of Evansville. She spent a two- decade career in the Purchasing and Production Scheduling Departments at Potter & Brumfield, Princeton, IN.
