Ardell Hardiman of Princeton, Indiana was called home on January 27, 2013.

 

She was born on July 12, 1922 in Jonesburg, MO.

 

Ardell was active in many community organizations: Bethel A. M.E Church; Church Women United; AARP; Gibson County Art Guild; Salivation Army Auxiliary; American Red Cross; Habituate for Humanity; March of Dimes; 4-H parent for more than twenty years; and Prevention of Child Abuse. 

She retired from Community Action Program of Princeton (a division of
CAPE in Evansville). She was the Senior Queen for Area 13B and received the Outstanding Out Reach Worker for Community Action several times during her employment. Ardell was granted the Kentucky Colonel Award in 1987. 

Surviving are daughter, Rene Jones-McCormick (Herman) and son James T (Jim) Hardiman (Lynn) of
Evansville; Carmen Jones and Son in law John Greene of Princeton.

 

Proceeded in death by her husband, Lester and a daughter, Barbara E Greene. There are nine Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren and four Great-great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. 

The visitation at Colvin Funeral Home in
Princeton on Wednesday, January 30th at 10 a.m. until the Funeral Service at Noon.
