Charles Eugene Field 71, passed away
He fought a hard battle till
the end. He is no longer suffering and is in Heaven looking down over his family
and friends. He is finally at peace and no longer struggles to breathe.
Charlie was born in Haubstadt

Charlie lived in Haubstadt
his entire life. He attended
Charlie was a lifetime member
of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt. He was an active member of
the UMWA, Local- 1791. Served 4 years in United States Berlin Crisis, Member of
American Legion Post 194 and served on the Burial Team. He was a member of
Haubstadt Chamber of Commerce, and co-chairman of the
Haubstadt Sommerfest for 9 years. He served many
years on the Johnson Township Advisory Board and also the Haubstadt High School
Gym Board.
Charlie considered his
grandkids the light of his life. He attended many of their events and treasured
all the time he shared with them. He had many hobbies including watching
NASCAR, golf cart rides, singing the Schnitzelbank
and attending Mardi Gras events over the past 19 years.
Charlie will be sadly missed my many in the community. Many will remember his
sweet smile and his love for life. He valued many friendships but especially
the one he had with Tom and Janet Dewig.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of 33years, Brenda (Hargrave) Field. 2 daughters: Angie Field, Beth (John)
