Mary Louise (Short) Creek, 77, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

She was born Nov. 14, 1935 in Gibson County the daughter of Carl D. and Helen (Craig) Short.

Mary had worked at the Regina Paces Nursing Home, Pinkerton Security and Gibson County Gravel Co. She was a member of the Old Union Christian Church.

Survivors include her son, Bradford Lee (Andrea) Creek; daughter, Judy Lynn Goodman; brothers, Winston, John and Dean Short; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Marvin E. Creek in 2002; sister, Joyce Ann Farrar; brothers, RK and Dexter Leon Short.

Services were held Monday, January 14 at 10 a.m. at Holders Funeral Home with Donald Mobley officiating. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Visitation was Sunday January 13 from 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
