Thomas A. Heldt,
66, passed away Friday Dec. 28, 2012 at his home in Princeton.
He was born in Princeton, June 25, 1946 to William and Ruth (Jennens)
Heldt, who preceded him in death.
He had lived in Princeton most of his life.
He graduated from Princeton High
School in
1964 and later graduated from Indiana State University in Terre Haute. He had been a salesman for Hansen’s Corporation for
20 years. He bought, sold, and appraised antiques, collectables and coins. He was
a member of First Christian Church in Owensville. He loved baseball, and I.U.
Basketball. He loved his grandchildren and his dog Mandy who was his constant
companion.
Thomas is survived by his
wife, Rebecca Heldt of Princeton; son, Matthew Heldt (Leah) of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandsons, Louden and Leyton Heldt, brothers, Joe Heldt of
Columbus; John Heldt of Princeton and George Heldt of Ft. Branch and many special nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 at the Colvin Funeral Home, with Pastor Bart Newton
officiating. Burial will be in the Owensville Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time Monday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
